LHS has a number of supports for pupils and parents to access.
Conversations about money can feel difficult, but not having them means that families can miss out on financial help or feel unable to talk to anyone if they are struggling with school costs.
Financial worries cause stress for parents and carers. They can also affect how children and young people feel about school, making them feel unhappy and unable to fully engage.
We want every family at Larbert to know support is available to reduce the cost of the school day and to help maximise income for families. Our LHS Support Catalogue is full of helpful information about financial support available and how to access support including email links to get in touch.
We want to make sure every Larbert family feels part of our school community and that every young person has the same opportunity to reach their potential for excellence at Larbert.
Full details on all supports can be found by clicking here or tapping on the LHS Support Catalogue app on your child's iPad, as shown to the right. If you would like further information please watch out YouTube video by clicking here.
The SETUP is located within the school and stocks new or nearly-new items to support our commitment to eco-friendly working. Items include uniform, stationery, sanitary products and more. We understand that many of our families are now looking to live more sustainably, and that teenagers grow at a rate where their uniform is barely worn before they grow out of it! We also recognise that buying new uniform and school essentials can be financially burdensome to many families, particularly in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.
SETUP Trolleys are located on each floor in every corridor of the building.
SETUP Boxes are a small version of the SETUP Trolley. These include items that pupils may need to help them have a successful start to the day. Boxes can be found in every faculty and Year Team base.
