Music

The Music Department provides Music education at Larbert High School and seven cluster primary schools, providing a cohesive curriculum from Primary 1 all the way through to Advanced Higher.

The department also offers Music Technology as a subject from S2 to HNC and provides tasters in the subject from P4. We are now have some the highest presentation numbers for Music Technology in the country.

The department is also home to two LHS academies, the Rock and Pop Academy and Piping and Drumming academy giving pupils unique performance opportunities from S1 to S3. Click the links to find out more about the music department's academies.

The department has a rich extra-curricular life with a number of groups meeting at lunchtimes or after school.
